Student involvement in Integrated quality and enhancement review, Northern Ireland Colleges in Northern Ireland set to be reviewed by QAA

Further education colleges in Northern Ireland are set to have the quality and standards of their higher education courses reviewed and reported on by QAA. Integrated quality and enhancement review: Northern Ireland will begin in 2010-11.

Types of review

We use a variety of review methods to check how institutions are maintaining their own academic standards and quality. To find out more, our Reviews pages include detailed handbooks and guides for students.

Academic standards and quality

QAA has worked with the sector to develop a set of reference points, known as the Academic Infrastructure. Institutions use this, and other reference points, to guide their policies for maintaining academic standards and quality.
