Assuring quality and standards in higher education
QAA is holding two round-table meetings to discuss current projects. The projects are looking at whether the tools used by UK higher education institutions to set and maintain quality and standards are appropriate

QAA supports the Guardian's fourth annual higher education summit
QAA has again agreed to support the Guardian's fourth annual conference entitled 'The future of higher education'. QAA's Chief Executive Anthony McClaran has agreed to chair one of the breakout sessions focussing on the student experience.

New draft revised subject benchmark statement for architecture for consultation
QAA is consulting on a draft revised benchmark statement for architecture to update the version originally published in 2000. It has been reviewed and revised by a group of subject specialists drawn from, and acting on behalf of, the architecture subject community, in consultation with a wider group representing the subject's broader interests.
