Directions to Gloucester Office

Our location in Gloucester

QAA's Gloucester office is situated in Southgate House on the corner of Southgate Street and Parliament Street.

Local directions

Follow the one-way system around the triangle into Southgate Street then turn left at the traffic lights into Parliament Street. The entrance to Southgate House is the first right. Main reception is at the front of the building on Southgate Street.

Travelling by Car

From the North (M5)

Exit M5 at junction 11 and follow A40 to Gloucester. At roundabout take third exit, signed Cathedral and Historic Docks. At next roundabout take first exit towards Gloucester city centre. At next roundabout take third exit, signed Historic Docks. Crossing straight over a mini-roundabout you will pass Tesco on your right. Follow signposts to Historic Docks, which will take you into the city on Commercial Road. See Local directions.

From London

Take M4, exit at junction 15 (Swindon), then A419/417 to Gloucester. At Zoons Court roundabout go straight across. At next roundabout take second exit signed Gloucester A38. Go right at next roundabout, and keep following brown signs for Cathedral and Historic Docks. After crossing a mini-roundabout and passing Tesco on your right, follow signs for Historic Docks, which will bring you into the city on Commercial Road. See Local directions.

From the South (M5)

Exit M5 at Junction 12. Follow A38 to Gloucester. At first traffic lights go straight across, signed Historic Docks and Cathedral. Follow A430 into city centre. Passing the docks on your left you are in Southgate Street. See Local Directions.

Alternatively continue until Junction 11 and follow directions as above.

Car parking

Unfortunately, visitor parking is not available at Southgate House. Ample public parking is available at Gloucester Docks directly opposite our offices.

Blue badge holders
There are a limited number of car parking spaces allocated on site for blue badge holders only.

Travelling by rail

Gloucester Station is currently served by main lines from Birmingham, Cardiff and London (please note this is subject to change due to network proposals). Southgate House is a short taxi ride away from the station and a taxi rank is available outside the station. Alternatively, Southgate House is a 15 minute walk through the city centre.

Travelling by air

Nearest international airports are Birmingham, Bristol and Cardiff.
