Evaluating the Academic Infrastructure

We would like to ask your views on the Academic Infrastructure, whether it has met its original aims and how you think it should develop in the future.

To help stimulate and focus discussion, we have published three papers, which are available to download below. Please feel free to respond to the papers in whichever way you would like, by Friday 7 May 2010.

Those working in the higher education sector may find the full technical discussion paper of most interest. This contains a series of questions about the Academic Infrastructure which might help you structure your response.

A shorter, summary version of the paper is also available, which may be of interest to students, employers and others with an interest in higher education.

We have also produced a short information paper, which sets out the current debates surrounding quality and standards in higher education and summarises the various strands of work being undertaken by QAA and other bodies working in partnership in this area.

How to respond

We are seeking responses from anyone with an interest in higher education. Your views are important to us and will help to inform the future development of the Academic Infrastructure.
