QAA is holding four round-table meetings to discuss current projects. The projects are looking at whether the tools used by UK higher education institutions to set and maintain quality and standards are appropriate, and are:
- evaluating the Academic Infrastructure
- developing of a set of minimum expectations for the role of external examiners.
A discussion paper has been published for each project as the basis of a wider consultation. The round-table meetings will provide an opportunity for a range of interested parties to consider these papers and the key issues which they raise.
