Round table discussion meetings on
Higher education credit framework for England: Guidance on academic credit arrangements in higher education in England
Following publication of the ‘Burgess group’ report on proposals for national arrangements for the use of academic credit in higher education in England, a Credit Issues Development Group (CIDG) was established to carry out the detailed work refining the arrangements for a national credit framework and develop guidance to accompany its implementation.
The CIDG are currently planning round table discussion meetings to consider an initial draft of Higher education credit framework for England: Guidance on academic credit arrangements in higher education in England.
The meetings are intended to provide an opportunity for discussions among small groups of experienced credit practitioners - those with responsibilities for programme design, approval and monitoring, quality assurance staff, higher education stakeholders and members of the CIDG. The meetings will provide fora for discussion of key issues in implementing credit frameworks.
The round table meetings will be held on the following dates and venues.
