Friday 12 March 2010
Start: 13.45 Finish: 16.30
This afternoon event will examine the ways in which QAA and other organisations have attempted to minimise the cost of reviews, as well as their environmental impact. The programme will include presentations on key topics such as virtual visits. It will also incorporate discussion sessions during which delegates will have the opportunity to share experiences.
The forum will be of interest to PSRB officers involved in the accreditation of higher education programmes and academic and professional standards. A provisional programme will be circulated shortly.
Please see below for details on how to book.
The PSRB forum was established in June 2008, and is a joint venture between QAA and the UK Inter-Professional Group (UKIPG). It is designed to provide an opportunity for representatives from PSRBs to discuss areas of mutual interest with QAA. Previous discussion topics have included QAA's working arrangements with PSRBs; the selection, recruitment and training of reviewers; sharing practice in reporting on review activity; and EU and international issues.
