Dr Don Olcott, Jr Jr., EdD, FRSA
As Chief Executive of The Observatory on Borderless Higher Education, Dr Olcott leads the organisation in a wide range of international research and partnership projects with numerous worldwide organisations.
A Fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts, Dr Olcott serves on the Executive Committee of the UK's Council of Validating Universities, on the advisory committee of the University of London's Distance Education Centre, and is a member of the External Strategy Group of the Open University.
He has held many senior appointments in a variety of institutions across the USA, and is an internationally known speaker with over 20 years' consultancy experience to institutions and corporations across the USA, Europe, Canada, Australia and the UK.
A member of the editorial boards of the American Journal of Distance Education, Distance Education (Australia) Open Learning, the Journal of Continuing Higher Education, India's Open University e-Learning Journal and the European Journal of Open and Distance Learning, Dr Olcotthas published extensively in the areas of leadership, faculty development for distance education, organisational change and higher education policy.
