Collaborative provision audit in Hong Kong
In 2007, QAA undertook an audit of six UK higher education institutions with collaborative links in Hong Kong. The reports on each of these links have been published. Access the audit reports >>
The six institutions generally have in place effective institutional arrangements for the management of academic standards and quality of learning opportunities, and students studying for awards experience an education which is comparable to that delivered in the UK. The arrangements generally embrace the various aspects of the Academic Infrastructure and, in many cases, are more rigorous than those for awards delivered in the UK.
To reflect on the findings of this audit, we have also published a report that outlines the context within which UK higher education institutions are delivering awards in Hong Kong. The report brings together the general findings relating to these six collaborative links and it is intended to support the further development of good practice in the quality assurance arrangements applied to overseas collaborative activity.
