Note: Since publication of the Handbook for institutional review: Walesand Institutional review in Wales: a guide for student representatives, the expressions of confidence used in institutional review judgements have been changed from 'broad confidence' to 'confidence'. All website versions of these two publications have been updated to reflect this change, and printed versions will be updated when they are reprinted. Updates have also been made to the institutional reviews on our website that took place between 2005 and June 2006.

Available to an institution where a team has judged that it has 'no confidence' in the soundness of the institution's procedures for the present and likely future management of the quality of its programmes and the academic standards of its awards

Evaluation of academic review in Wales 2002
The individual review reports for these reviews were confidential to the higher education institution and the Higher Education Funding Council for Wales. This report was published to disseminate the results and learning from the 2002 engagements.
